How to navigate the choppy, sometimes shark infested, online dating waters with a great new app January 23, 2017

What does the world need more than anything right now? You guessed it- more dating apps.

I kid of course because let’s face it, there seems to be way too many dating apps to choose from now and each one of them seems to come with it’s own unique set of horror stories.

Catherine and I have been together for a little over four years now. I believe it was right around the time we started our “journey” together on The Bachelor, that apps like Tinder started to take shape. So needless to say, we never had the experience of swiping right like so many of our friends have. In a weird way, we almost feel like we missed out on the whole experience. But at the same time, we count our blessings that we have each other and we’re not swimming in the choppy, sometimes shark infested, online dating waters.

Enter Vouch. A totally new and fresh take on dating online.

Catherine and I have teamed up with some of our best friends to launch a new way to date, and guess what? It’s for everyone. Singles, married couples, those in a complicated relationship, your grandma, your best friend, everyone.

Here’s the Cliff Notes version of how Vouch will work: A single person will download the app and select a handful of close friends (vouchers) to help them choose who they should date. Your friends help build your profile, and then find matches for you, reviewing potential dates and offering real-time feedback as they  go. So in other words, Catherine can finally take part in that whole online dating experience she missed out on by marrying me and help her friends find solid guys and girls to date in the process.

Vouch will be launching in the App Store in the coming weeks. Sign up on www.tryvouchapp.com to be among the first to try the app when we launch.
