So many of you have been sweet enough to ask how Catherine and the baby are doing, so today I thought I’d give you a quick update.
Catherine is about seven months in now which means we’re on the home stretch. So far, she’s been pleasantly surprised with her lack of symptoms. She had little to no morning sickness during the first trimester (which apparently is pretty rare) and I’m pretty sure there were times when she forgot she was pregnant during the second trimester because there were so few symptoms. As I mentioned in a post the other day, this crazy woman has been working on two separate businesses while pregnant. Most days I would have to remind her that she was pregnant so she would stop and eat or rest a little bit. My wife is relentless.
Now that she’s in her third trimester, I think Catherine is finally starting feel some side effects. Baby is growing… a lot! And as baby grows, mama’s belly grows which makes life fairly uncomfortable at times. Not to mention, we’re pretty sure baby is doing summersaults in her belly throughout most of the night which can make sleeping pretty difficult at times. But overall, we’re so blessed to have had a healthy pregnancy for both baby and Catherine so far.
Thank you to everyone who has sent positive messages our way. We can’t wait to meet our little guy or girl and continue to share our lives with you all after he/she arrives.
