Each time a new year rolls around, I tend to do what most people do…I make resolutions that I don’t actually keep! I let guilt motivate me into pledging to do better with my diet or my finances or some other aspect of my life, but by the middle of January, I always tend to fall back into the same old ruts. This year, I’m trying something unique; and I encourage you to try it too.
Instead of setting unrealistic goals, I’m going to try a “RESTART.” Whenever my computer or one of my electronic devices isn’t working properly, the first thing I do is restart it which tends to reset things to their original and best settings. For us as human beings, in our fast-paced world, we never gives ourselves the chance shut down and restart. We just keep running at the same sprint. This year, before you set a bunch of goals to just work ever harder than you’re already working, consider trying a fresh approach.
These are the seven ways to create a “restart” that could put you at your best physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. Do all seven and you’ll be starting off the new year in the best possible way! In no particular order…
