Super Bowl champ is proud member of women’s book club

Malcolm Mitchell is a 23 year old rookie wide receiver for the New England Patriots. He just played a critical role in the Patriots’ magical come from behind win in Super Bowl LI. However, Malcolm says his greatest accomplishments haven’t been on the football fields where things have come more easily for him, but rather with reading, where he’s had to work very hard. When he was an undergrad at the University of Georgia just short while ago, he was reading at the Junior High level. He wasn’t proud of that fact. On a visit to Barnes and Nobles Bookstore, he bumped into a woman and asked her for book recommendation. She, a grandmother, then asked him to join her monthly women’s book club! And that was the beginning of Malcolm’s amazing story of perseverance (not on the football field as one might think). Watch this great story of an extremely special young man!
