Ashley Adamietz from northern CA is a senior in high school and a cheerleader too. She was diagnosed with leukemia this summer and has been undergoing chemotherapy ever since. The football team honored Ashley on the first game of the season, by leaving orange roses  at her feet as they ran onto the field (orange is the color for leukemia awareness). This wonderful gesture from the 57 players shocks and surprises her and as well brings her to tears. The team said, “We took care of family business before we took care of business on the field.” That’s the way to do it Foothills High School!!
