Sick boy makes his own promise after Big Papi hits him a home run

Maverick is a six year old boy battling a congenital heart problem.  A few weeks ago, Red Sox superstar David Ortiz (Big Papi) promised Maverick before a game that he’d hit a home run for him.  Ortiz delivered on his promise by hitting a huge homer into the Green Monster seats at Fenway Park.  Maverick was thrilled and he videotaped his own promise back to Big Papi:”I am trying my hardest to get out there to Fenway Park and meet you.” Well, last night, there he was at Fenway Park meeting all the Red Sox players and throwing out the first pitch. Love it!
