A real life “Make Way for Ducklings” story that will warm your heart

Everyone at Glover Elementary in Milton, MA lined the hallways the other day and quietly watched a proud mother duck and her ducklings make their way from the school courtyard, through the school hallways to a pond bordering school property. The mother mallard has been laying her eggs in an interior courtyard at the school where there is  no simple access to the outside world but for a windy way through the school corridors. It’s been an annual tradition for a decade. This year, the mommy mallard and her 10 ducklings paraded past the respectful children on her way to her rustic setting at the pond.
